We are a fully licensed and insured Agrotourism Farm. We allow guests of our Farm Store Sundays 12-4pm to visit our animals as they are available.
During the cooler months, we also offer Fun Sessions with our animals by appointment - You can pet, feed, brush, love-on, and take your own pictures with our sweet Highland calves AND you can also pet and feed our big Highlands and pigs during your session! (Plus, we offer Hot Cocoa for free with our sessions!)
Sessions are $20 per 15 minute session for up to 2 guests, each additional guest is $10, and a maximum of 5 guests in a group per 15 minute session are allowed.
We will post a link to book an appointment once our schedule is available for the fall.
Safety Protocols:
- Parent/adult supervision REQUIRED AT ALL TIMES!
- Be aware that Highland cows are LARGE ANIMALS, they can be dangerous and unpredictable!
- Please be gentle with our animals - loud noises and fast movements can scare them!
- ALWAYS keep hands flat when feeding our animals - they can mistake your hands/fingers for food!
- Our farm is not a playground - please DO NOT climb/stand/sit on fences!
- Our farm is a WORKING farm, please be cautious of sharp objects, nails, barbed wire, machinery, etc.
- Watch your step! Our animals do not know how to use a bathroom!
Virginia Code Annotated 3.2-6400-6402: “Under Virginia Law, there is no liability for an injury to or death of a participant in an Agrotourism activity conducted at this Agrotourism location if such injury or death results from the inherent risks of the agrotourism activity. Inherent risks of Agrotourism activities include, among others, risks of injury inherent to land, equipment, and animals, as well as the potential for you to act in a negligent manner that may contribute to your injury or death. You are assuming the risk of participating in this Agrotourism activity.”
